Britain's Greatest Detective
From the famous
calabash pipe to his smart tweed overcoat and
hat, Holmes is one of Britain's most recognized
icons. His many adventures with Doctor Watson
have fired the imagination of both children and
adults worldwide since the stories were first
published by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle as magazine
short stories. The statue shown here was
commissioned by the Sherlock Holmes Society to
commemorate Holmes forever. |
