London Aquarium The Aquarium is situated on the south bank of the river Thames within the historic County Hall building next to the London Eye

There are over 400,000 litres of water behind the scenes that house over 40 species.

Opened in County Hall in April 1997, London Aquarium offers people of all ages the chance to see over 400 species of fish and animal life from oceans, lakes, rivers and streams around the world. Located on the south bank of the Thames, London Aquarium is next to the London Eye and just over Westminster Bridge from Big Ben and the House of Parliament.

London Aquarium runs a comprehensive set of talks and feeding displays throughout the day which are free for all visitors, and tours for all ages and levels of knowledge (tour are require advanced booking and standard minimum of 10 individuals.) Throughout the year, London Aquarium runs themed weeks of activities, displays and presentation, which are free and cater for adults and children.

Also this year, London Aquarium celebrates UK waters in our British Aquatic week from 4th - 10th August (tying in with South East Marine Week) and finally Rainforest Week, which will run from 27th - 31st October. London Aquarium is only a few minutes walk from Waterloo and Westminster stations and is served by numerous buses and a boat service along the Thames.

open 10am - 6pm, with the last entry at 5pm, seven days a week with the following exceptions. Extended opening times are as follows. 10am till 7pm.
Last admission 6pm during: Half term: Saturday 24th May until Sunday 1st June
Summer: Saturday 19th July until Sunday 31st August
Autumn: Saturday 25th October until Sunday 2nd November Times are subject to change
