The
Churchill Papers themselves have served as the
inspiration and starting point for an even larger
endeavor - the creation of a wide ranging archive of
the Churchill Era and after, covering all those fields
of public life in which Sir Winston played a personal
role or took a personal interest. Today the Churchill
Archives Centre holds the papers of some 400
personages, and the number is still increasing.
Exhibition: Winston Churchill's Britain at War
Experience
Experience life during the blitz of World War II for
ordinary London folk. Sights, sounds, smells and
claustrophobia all come together to make this an
experience full of realism. Air raid shelters, pubs,
shops and Vera Lynn.
