St.
Paul's Cathedral
was built
after the devastating Great Fire of 1666 destroyed most of
London.

St
Paul's was
designed by Christopher Wren, renowned architect of
the age, who chose to mix many styles in planning the
great cathedral, including classical and gothic
construction. Almost 300 years later, St. Paul's survived
the Blitz in WW11 and became a symbol of hope to
devastated Londoners. The cathedral has also been
the venue for royal weddings including the marriage of
Prince Charles and Princess Diana..
