Natural History Museum
London
|
One of the largest museums in
Europe, The Natural History Museum is Britain's national museum of natural
history.
The doors first opened to the
public in 1881, primarily exhibiting materials from the collection of Sir Hans
Sloan.
Of course, since that time the
museum has grown to include hundreds of exhibits displaying everything from
dinosaurs to an interactive earthquake exhibit! We suggest visiting the
museum early in the day to avoid the queues.
