Victoria and Albert Museum London


The world’s largest museum of Decorative Art first opened in 1852 as the Museum of Manufactures and renamed the South Kensington Museum in 1857.  In 1899 it was again renamed after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.  The Victoria and Albert Museum has 145 galleries divided into two groups : Art & Design and Materials & Techniques.
